About Me

Thanks for visiting my portfolio pages! I've been a visual artist since I was a child... always coloring and drawing. I let my creativity in this area lapse for MANY years and recently just began drawing mandalas. It was a calling! I rapidly created several pieces and couldn't stop! Then I dove into watercolor, a new medium for me and I am truly hooked. Watercolor is said to have a mind of its own... that's what I love about it. You never really know what you're going to get. It's a very organic process, just like my calling to paint. :) I will continue to draw mandalas and other subjects using pencils and markers but feel I have truly found a home and the perfect way to express my art with watercolor. I live the the Great Smoky Mountains with my husband and two kitties. It's heaven on earth here. These mountains are composed mostly of crystal and it is deeply healing and inspiring. My purpose in creating art is to lift the spirit and kindle the viewer's journey into self empowerment with infinite possibilities. We are living in very special times when our dear Mother Earth is shifting and we are aligning with her in a new and fantastic journey towards illumination and transformation.
